1 Nephi 21:12 - 21:16

1 Nephi 21:12 And then, O house of Israel, behold, these shall come from far; and lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.

The gospel will come from many sources. Again from radio and television, etc but also by missionaries by direct contact. These missionaries shall come from all parts of the world to other parts of the world.

1 Nephi 21:13 Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; for the feet of those who are in the east shall be established; and break forth into singing, O mountains; for they shall be smitten no more; for the Lord hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.

It will be a time to rejoice in knowing that the Lord has not forgotten Israel. People in all parts of the world will be excepting the gospel in all parts of the world and will praise the Lord and thank those who brought it to them. They will no longer be in darkness but will begin the process of growth in the light of the knowledge of who they are and was is their potential in the eternities.

1 Nephi 21:14 But, behold, Zion hath said: The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me—but he will show that he hath not.

The spreading of the gospel will certainly show Israel that she is indeed not forgotten or cast off. Israel has been in the Lord’s mind all along and now it is time to redeem her.

1 Nephi 21:15 For can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee, O house of Israel.

Israel can be likened to a child of a mother. Can a mother forget her own child? Not hardly.

1 Nephi 21:16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

The child’s memory is ever before the Lord. It is like an image that is on the palms of your hands. You would see it everyday so it would act as a content reminder of your existence.
