2 Nephi 15:16 - 15:20

2 Nephi 15:16 But the Lord of Hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.

The gospel will at this point be seen as the right way of living. The Jews will see that they are out of the loop and lost their place in the kingdom of heaven.

2 Nephi 15:17 Then shall the lambs feed after their manner, and the waste places of the fat ones shall strangers eat.

The conquerors of the Jews will then be the ones to reap the rewards of all their labors. Their crops and material possessions will fall into the hands of their enemies.

2 Nephi 15:18 Wo unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope;

So let these prophecies be a warning to the Jews. Don’t let their pride convinced them they are invincible.

2 Nephi 15:19 That say: Let him make speed, hasten his work, that we may see it; and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it.

Don’t look forward to the Lord helping you out of this mess. Don’t think that you will see the Lord fight your battles and save you from your enemies.

2 Nephi 15:20 Wo unto them that call evil good, and good evil, that put darkness for light, and light for darkness, that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

You have thought what your evil behavior is good. You have thought that your acts of deception were ok as long as you performed the ordinances of the law of Moses.
