1 Nephi 14:28 - 15:2
1 Nephi 14:28 And behold, I, Nephi, am forbidden that I should write the remainder of the things which I saw and heard; wherefore the things which I have written sufficeth me; and I have written but a small part of the things which I saw.
Nephi again tells us that he has written down only part of what saw and heard. And what he has written is good enough for him and for those who will read his record. He again reiterates that it is only a small part or what he was shown.
1 Nephi 14:29 And I bear record that I saw the things which my father saw, and the angel of the Lord did make them known unto me.
Nephi gives testimony that he was shown by an angel the vision his father had.
1 Nephi 14:30 And now I make an end of speaking concerning the things which I saw while I was carried away in the Spirit; and if all the things which I saw are not written, the things which I have written are true. And thus it is. Amen.
Nephi ends the account of his vision in which he was taken to a place to see for himself what his father had seen. He does not record everything he saw, but what he has written are true. He give solemn testimony of all that he saw and heard.
1 Nephi 15:1 And it came to pass that after I, Nephi, had been carried away in the Spirit, and seen all these things, I returned to the tent of my father.
Nephi returns to his father tent. From where he was carried from and to where he was carried is interesting to contemplate. I wonder if Lehi knew Nephi was out somewhere praying to know more about the dream. I would think that they must have shared much between themselves about it. I also wonder if their reaction to the fact that they noticed different things in the dream was interesting to them?
1 Nephi 15:2 And it came to pass that I beheld my brethren, and they were disputing one with another concerning the things which my father had spoken unto them.
Upon Nephi’s return to camp, he sees his brothers discussing the words of their father concerning them as related in his dream. I can only imagine that they were a bit angry that they seem to not look very good. I can contemplate that they thought they should not be treated this way because they were not that bad in their own eyes.
