2 Nephi 21:6 - 21:10
2 Nephi 21:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf and the young lion and fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
Because of His coming, peace will come to the earth and enemies will not longer be enemies. This will be liken to various animals who feed off each other will no longer do so. The pray will not longer be afraid of the predator.
2 Nephi 21:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
Cows and Bears will dwell together without the cows fearing the bears. Lions will eat vegetation rather than meat for food.
2 Nephi 21:8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’s den.
The small child will play near the home of the asp or the cockatrice’s dwelling place without fear of being stung.
2 Nephi 21:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
People will not be wanting to make war on each other for power or gain. People will now want to serve one another rather than rule over each other. This will be attitude will be universal over all the earth.
2 Nephi 21:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek; and his rest shall be glorious.
Christ will be seen as the one who can deliver them from the worries and sorrows of this world. They will come to Him for instruction and learn what it means to have true freedom and peace in their lives.
