2 Nephi 30:6 - 30:10
2 Nephi 30:6 And then shall they rejoice; for they shall know that it is a blessing unto them from the hand of God; and their scales of darkness shall begin to fall from their eyes; and many generations shall not pass away among them, save they shall be a pure and a delightsome people.
They will rejoice knowing of their pedigree and that they are a chosen people of God and not the degraded people that the Gentiles call them. This knowledge will cause them to raise up in personal regard and know that they can achieve whatever goals they desire. They shall become a powerful people with much influence in the earth.
2 Nephi 30:7 And it shall come to pass that the Jews which are scattered also shall begin to believe in Christ; and they shall begin to gather in upon the face of the land; and as many as shall believe in Christ shall also become a delightsome people.
The Jews also will come to believe in Jesus Christ in the future in their scattered condition. They will be gathered together and become a blessed people as they take upon them His name like unto the descendants of Lehi in the land of promise.
2 Nephi 30:8 And it shall come to pass that the Lord God shall commence his work among all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people, to bring about the restoration of his people upon the earth.
With the publishing of the Book of Mormon, the preaching of the Gospel will begin in all the earth among all peoples of the earth. This will begin together all those who are a ruminate of the house of Israel who are scattered over all the nations of the earth.
2 Nephi 30:9 And with righteousness shall the Lord God judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth. And he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
With this exposure to the peoples of the earth with the Book of Mormon, the Lord will use it judge all the people of the earth. He will save the meek and the poor from the wickedness of the prideful and the haughty. The wicked will be destroyed. (By self inflicted actions.)
2 Nephi 30:10 For the time speedily cometh that the Lord God shall cause a great division among the people, and the wicked will he destroy; and he will spare his people, yea, even if it so be that he must destroy the wicked by fire.
The wicked will separate themselves from the righteous because they will gravitate towards those of like disposition. The wicked will be destroyed as they congregate into their groups and it will be in many cases by some form of fire or what looks like a fiery end which is the signal for the beginning of the millennial reign.
