1 Nephi 22:11 - 22:15
1 Nephi 22:11 Wherefore, the Lord God will proceed to make bare his arm in the eyes of all the nations, in bringing about his covenants and his gospel unto those who are of the house of Israel.
The nations of the gentiles will see the Lord carrying out what He has prophesied He will do for the salvation of the House of Israel which is compared to the act of baring his arm to the world. These nations were put in place to bring a knowledge of Abraham’s blessing to us. Many will probably not realize that they are doing this but some will.
This was especially evident when the State of Israel was being established in 1947. Many were thinking about how the Second Coming must be close because of the restoration of the Jews to their homeland. Some were marveling and thinking how this was a major event in the world's history.
1 Nephi 22:12 Wherefore, he will bring them again out of captivity, and they shall be gathered together to the lands of their inheritance; and they shall be brought out of obscurity and out of darkness; and they shall know that the Lord is their Savior and their Redeemer, the Mighty One of Israel.
The Lord will therefore use these gentile nations of gather scattered Israel from out of the nations they find themselves at this point in history. They will be restored to their lands of inheritance and learn of their great future. In addition they will learn of the Savior of the world and what He has done for them out of love for them.
Many of us who were born in the Americas or who were brought here by whatever means is a fulfillment of this prophesy. We have be restored or were born in the land we were promised in the preexistence. The establishment of the nations of the Americas is the coming to pass for the restoration of the lands of promise and of the bring the House of Israel out of the shadows into the light of prominence. Just look at the prominence in the news of Israel and the power wielded by the United States.
1 Nephi 22:13 And the blood of that great and abominable church, which is the whore of all the earth, shall turn upon their own heads; for they shall war among themselves, and the sword of their own hands shall fall upon their own heads, and they shall be drunken with their own blood.
And anyone or any group who tries to prevent this restoration will find themselves warring amongst themselves. It seems a natural thing that when one group is trying to rule, they are always challenged by others who want the same thing. And since they are evil to begin with, they will only resort to violence to come out on top. But since they will usually kill each other with the same numbers on both sides, they will almost illuminate each other.
1 Nephi 22:14 And every nation which shall war against thee, O house of Israel, shall be turned one against another, and they shall fall into the pit which they digged to ensnare the people of the Lord. And all that fight against Zion shall be destroyed, and that great whore, who hath perverted the right ways of the Lord, yea, that great and abominable church, shall tumble to the dust and great shall be the fall of it.
The end result of all attempts to prevent the restoration of the gospel to the house of Israel will be the destruction of those who try to do so. Any group or individual that is trying to destroy the Church will always result in their own destruction.
1 Nephi 22:15 For behold, saith the prophet, the time cometh speedily that Satan shall have no more power over the hearts of the children of men; for the day soon cometh that all the proud and they who do wickedly shall be as stubble; and the day cometh that they must be burned.
And there will be a time when satan is prevented from causing all this trauma and he will influence no more the children of men. And all those who have listened to satan will suffer for their willingness to follow him.
