2 Nephi 27:6 - 27:10

2 Nephi 27:6 And it shall come to pass that the Lord God shall bring forth unto you the words of a book, and they shall be the words of them which have slumbered.

But the Lord will bring unto the world a book. This book will be the record of peoples that lived long ago. The words of the book will hopefully wake up the nations who think they know what they are doing is correct.

2 Nephi 27:7 And behold the book shall be sealed; and in the book shall be a revelation from God, from the beginning of the world to the ending thereof.

The book mentioned will be saved to come forth in our day. This book will be a record of a past civilization that has been lost to memory.

2 Nephi 27:8 Wherefore, because of the things which are sealed up, the things which are sealed shall not be delivered in the day of the wickedness and abominations of the people. Wherefore the book shall be kept from them.

The book will come forth only when the people are ready to receive it. It will be at a time when religious freedom exists so that they can have it without government or other interference and oppression. Nations that oppression religious freedom will not have this book,

2 Nephi 27:9 But the book shall be delivered unto a man, and he shall deliver the words of the book, which are the words of those who have slumbered in the dust, and he shall deliver these words unto another;

But a man will be called to translate the words of this record to give to those ready to receive them. The words will be from this deceased civilization which will of great worth to those who the words are given too.

2 Nephi 27:10 But the words which are sealed he shall not deliver, neither shall he deliver the book. For the book shall be sealed by the power of God, and the revelation which was sealed shall be kept in the book until the own due time of the Lord, that they may come forth; for behold, they reveal all things from the foundation of the world unto the end thereof.

This record will contain events and happenings of the past from the being of the world and even before that. But the book will only come forth at the right time.
