1 Nephi 21:17- 21:21
1 Nephi 21:17 Thy children shall make haste against thy destroyers; and they that made thee waste shall go forth of thee.
Israel will be surrounded by enemies which shall be always seeking her destruction. But they will not completely overcome Israel. They will be defeated and driven from their lands.
1 Nephi 21:18 Lift up thine eyes round about and behold; all these gather themselves together, and they shall come to thee. And as I live, saith the Lord, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on even as a bride.
But even through Israel will be surround and out numbered, Israel’s enemies will not be able to completely destroy them.
1 Nephi 21:19 For thy waste and thy desolate places, and the land of thy destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants; and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away.
Wherever the house of Israel will find themselves in their Diaspora, they will not be happy there. They will be persecuted by those with whom they live. Their lives will be to restricted so they can’t be just the way they want.
1 Nephi 21:20 The children whom thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the first, shall again in thine ears say: The place is too strait for me; give place to me that I may dwell.
Israel lost their land (Palestine) and shall say that they want their land back because of the persecution they are suffering under the hands of those with whom they now live among.
1 Nephi 21:21 Then shalt thou say in thine heart: Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? And who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where have they been?
These of the Diaspora will say in their minds: “are we part of the promises made to our fathers?” Why are we being pushed here and there. Where is the God that created our house? Why are we left alone?
