2 Nephi 27:21 - 27:25

2 Nephi 27:21 Touch not the things which are sealed, for I will bring them forth in mine own due time; for I will show unto the children of men that I am able to do mine own work.

The sealed portion of the record will not be translated at the time they are delivered to the first man. The Lord will use an unlearned man to show that He can get accomplished whatever He set out to do with whoever He wants too.

2 Nephi 27:22 Wherefore, when thou hast read the words which I have commanded thee, and obtained the witnesses which I have promised unto thee, then shalt thou seal up the book again, and hide it up unto me, that I may preserve the words which thou hast not read, until I shall see fit in mine own wisdom to reveal all things unto the children of men.

After the record is translated and the witnesses have seen the record, then the record will be hid up again until the Lord thinks it is time to reveal the rest of the record to the world.

2 Nephi 27:23 For behold, I am God; and I am a God of miracles; and I will show unto the world that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and I work not among the children of men save it be according to their faith.

God is a revealer of knowledge that come to us in what seems a miraculous way. He has also worked by the same methods but will not work miracles among us if we have no faith in His mission. If we have faith, good things are revealed to us by revelation and the Holy Ghost.

2 Nephi 27:24 And again it shall come to pass that the Lord shall say unto him that shall read the words that shall be delivered him:

Now anyone who gets the words of this book the Lord will say to him.

2 Nephi 27:25 Forasmuch as this people draw near unto me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their hearts far from me, and their fear towards me is taught by the precepts of men—

Because of the false interpretations of the scriptures by man for over a thousands years, man does not have a true concept of what kind of man is God. In addition, their hearts are not really with God because of the false precepts that are circulating about Him. Men are worshiping a false God.
