2 nephi 27:31 - 27:35

2 nephi 27:31 For assuredly as the Lord liveth they shall see that the terrible one is brought to naught, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off;

And the righteous will see the Lord bring down punishment on the heads of all those who have made their lives miserable. The righteous will see what appears to be the unstoppable power of the wicked of the world come to naught. And all those that are engaged in evil will be removed from those who are looking for peace and righteousness.

2 nephi 27:32 And they that make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of naught.

This goes for those who are looking for ways to persecute the righteous by saying their words, established doctrines and practices, are against society and convict them of treasonable acts.

2 nephi 27:33 Therefore, thus saith the Lord, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob: Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale.

But the Lord will not allow them to have their way for very long. The children of Israel will not have to suffer at the hands of evil men or hide their convictions to save their lives and of their families forever.

2 nephi 27:34 But when he seeth his children, the work of my hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.

Soon they will be able to worship openly the Lord of Jacob. They will hold the name of the Lord as holy and the source of knowledge so they can be free to learn more about. He will be with them and teach them all that they need to know to regain His presence.

2 nephi 27:35 They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.

So he that was taught incorrect doctrines by men will learn correct doctrines. Those who were angry with the Lord because He would not talk to them will receive the instructions they desired.
