Jacob 5:66 - 5:70
Jacob 5:66 For it grieveth me that I should lose the trees of my vineyard; wherefore ye shall clear away the bad according as the good shall grow, that the root and the top may be equal in strength, until the good shall overcome the bad, and the bad be hewn down and cast into the fire, that they cumber not the ground of my vineyard; and thus will I sweep away the bad out of my vineyard.
Therefore by making sure that the good and the bad together draw the maximum from the roots, the master can make sure the roots stay strong. So that if the bad were not removed in proportion to the growth of the good, the roots would die from being over stressed and the trees all would die. At the same time, as all the bad branches are removed from the trees, they will not to be allow to pile up on the ground but burned up so there is not restriction of the master or the servants to work with the trees this last time. [I think the means that the wicked will be destroyed little by little as the Church increases in strength. We saw that in East Germany. We will continue to see as the Church grows and seeks to cover the world, that the opposition to it will lessen in proportion. The evil of the world are not all swept away at once but little by little as the wicked destroy the wicked.]
Jacob 5:67 And the branches of the natural tree will I graft in again into the natural tree;
So the original branches will be returned to the mother tree.
Jacob 5:68 And the branches of the natural tree will I graft into the natural branches of the tree; and thus will I bring them together again, that they shall bring forth the natural fruit, and they shall be one.
And the good fruit that is being produced in the mother tree will be reunited with the good fruit that will be produced by the returning branches and they will all appear to be the same in flavor and look.
Jacob 5:69 And the bad shall be cast away, yea, even out of all the land of my vineyard; for behold, only this once will I prune my vineyard.
The bad fruit will be removed from all the vineyard and this will be the very last time.
Jacob 5:70 And it came to pass that the Lord of the vineyard sent his servant; and the servant went and did as the Lord had commanded him, and brought other servants; and they were few.
The master then commanded his servant to go out get more helpers to carry out his instructions. There would be a need for all the help he could get to complete the assignment. The number of additional servants recruited was large. [This obviously refers to the large number of missionaries in these the last days. I pretty sure that there has never been these large numbers of missionaries going all over the world in the history of the world. My impression is that there has been missionary activity in various parts of the world but not the entire planet. Countries that now exclude the missionaries will either change their minds or the governments that keep us out will fall by natural means which will pave the way for the Churches’ entry into their country.]
