2 Nephi 24:6 - 24:10

2 Nephi 24:6 He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.

There is no one to make anyone afraid anymore. There is no one to hinder the spreading of the knowledge of the gospel.

2 Nephi 24:7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet; they break forth into singing.

The earth is at rest because there is no more strife on the surface thereof. It is at peace and all peoples are now praising the Lord because He did know the right way and all peoples are happy.

2 Nephi 24:8 Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and also the cedars of Lebanon, saying: Since thou art laid down no feller is come up against us.

No one fears anybody making their life miserable. No government of wicked man will arise to bring people under there subjection so they can live off their labors.

2 Nephi 24:9 Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming; it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.

Hell and all its influence is removed from the earth and its people. It will no longer create havoc among the children of men. It will no longer make the rulers of the nations become despots to bring misery and suffering to their peoples.

2 Nephi 24:10 All they shall speak and say unto thee: Art thou also become weak as we? Art thou become like unto us?

The formally oppressed will say to the wicked: “We see that you have no more power over us. You are like us in that you have to live under the rule of the Lord.”
