2 Nephi 28:16 - 28:20

2 Nephi 28:16 Wo unto them that turn aside the just for a thing of naught and revile against that which is good, and say that it is of no worth! For the day shall come that the Lord God will speedily visit the inhabitants of the earth; and in that day that they are fully ripe in iniquity they shall perish.

This is especially true of those who say that religion is a fallacy and a crutch for the weak. And to those who revile against the goodness of the good people and say they are wasting their time when they could be having fun in sin, the Lord will destroyed them when the time is right and they have lost the power to repent.

2 Nephi 28:17 But behold, if the inhabitants of the earth shall repent of their wickedness and abominations they shall not be destroyed, saith the Lord of Hosts.

But if the wicked will repent before it is to late, the Lord will turn away His resolve to destroy the wicked. There is still hope but not much longer.

2 Nephi 28:18 But behold, that great and abominable church, the whore of all the earth, must tumble to the earth, and great must be the fall thereof.

All organizations of the earth that are not the true Church, whether they be religiously based or secular will know that they are not the answer to the world problems. Only the Christ's church can solve man’s problems.

2 Nephi 28:19 For the kingdom of the devil must shake, and they which belong to it must needs be stirred up unto repentance, or the devil will grasp them with his everlasting chains, and they be stirred up to anger, and perish;

Since these organizations were created by satan they must be told that they are on the wrong path. They must wake up to the fact that they are under the control of satan. That they are under his influence and that if they do not get away from him soon, they will not be able too and they will perish.

2 Nephi 28:20 For behold, at that day shall he rage in the hearts of the children of men, and stir them up to anger against that which is good.

In the latter days satan will be influencing the people of the earth so much that they will be angry with those who are trying to good or who are searching for the truth.
