2 Nephi 33:11 - 33:15

2 Nephi 33:11 And if they are not the words of Christ, judge ye—for Christ will show unto you, with power and great glory, that they are his words, at the last day; and you and I shall stand face to face before his bar; and ye shall know that I have been commanded of him to write these things, notwithstanding my weakness.

If one should conclude that the book is not the word of God and that it does not contain the words of Jesus, that is certainly a judgment you have the freedom to make. However, in time, if not immediately, Jesus will make the truthfulness of the book known to you either by experiences in your life or when He comes at the Second Coming and you find out, perhaps to your horror, that the book is true. You may find out also when the judgment day comes around to you, that Nephi himself, will testify personally to you that it was commissioned by Jesus and even though Nephi is human and subject to weakness of the body, he was indeed commanded to write this book.

2 Nephi 33:12 And I pray the Father in the name of Christ that many of us, if not all, may be saved in his kingdom at that great and last day.

Nephi is hopeful that everyone will be saved. He truly wants this blessing to come to all people of this earth.

2 Nephi 33:13 And now, my beloved brethren, all those who are of the house of Israel, and all ye ends of the earth, I speak unto you as the voice of one crying from the dust: Farewell until that great day shall come.

Nephi closing remarks is that if we have his book, then you will know that it is from a man who live many centuries ago and is speaking to us with the desire to get us to fellow Christ. He will be waiting for us when the judgment day rolls around to testify as to his authorship.

2 Nephi 33:14 And you that will not partake of the goodness of God, and respect the words of the Jews, and also my words, and the words which shall proceed forth out of the mouth of the Lamb of God, behold, I bid you an everlasting farewell, for these words shall condemn you at the last day.

To those who will not accept the Book of Mormon, at least live up to the words of the Bible who many of will consider to be true and contain the account of the mission of Jesus. However, rejection of the Book of Mormon will show that you really did not believe in the words of Jesus as found in the Bible and you will be held accountable at the judgment day.

2 Nephi 33:15 For what I seal on earth, shall be brought against you at the judgment bar; for thus hath the Lord commanded me, and I must obey. Amen.

Again judgment will come to those who reject the Book of Mormon. They will see that Nephi was commanded to write what he wrote and he obeyed.
