2 Nephi 23:1 - 23:5

2 Nephi 23:1 The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.

Isaiah see what will happen to the world which will be like a burden to those who will not see the hand of Jehovah in it history.

2 Nephi 23:2 Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

The house of Israel will be a beacon to the people of the world. They will show the way to be at peace and what is actually truth in this world with so many competing for our attention.

2 Nephi 23:3 I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones, for mine anger is not upon them that rejoice in my highness.

The house of Israel will be the people who Jehovah has designated to bring the gospel to the world.

2 Nephi 23:4 The noise of the multitude in the mountains like as of a great people, a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together, the Lord of Hosts mustereth the hosts of the battle.

Evil will be mustered by satan to fight against the house of Israel as it fulfills its mission to bring the gospel to all the earth. Jehovah will be their leader and general.

2 Nephi 23:5 They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, yea, the Lord, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

The land is to be destroyed after the gospel is preached for the last time. His wrath will be His preaching the gospel until it is clear that the people will not except the gospel then destruction of the peoples of the world will take place.
