Alma 5:31 - 5:35

Alma 5:31 Wo unto such an one, for he is not prepared, and the time is at hand that he must repent or he cannot be saved!

If this is your present condition, you better get at repenting. If you do not you will not enjoy the eternal association of God and your righteous family members.

Alma 5:32 Yea, even wo unto all ye workers of iniquity; repent, repent, for the Lord God hath spoken it!

So those who enjoy working doing evil acts, you better get repenting. The words that Alma is speaking is directly from God. God is not going to let the unrepented souls into his kingdom.

Alma 5:33 Behold, he sendeth an invitation unto all men, for the arms of mercy are extended towards them, and he saith: Repent, and I will receive you.

God’s invitation to repent is to every individual. He really wants to help all that will come to him for help. He is not withholding His invitation from anyone. He really wants us all to come back to him.

Alma 5:34 Yea, he saith: Come unto me and ye shall partake of the fruit of the tree of life; yea, ye shall eat and drink of the bread and the waters of life freely;

Accept God’s invitation. He wants us all to be able to enjoy eternal life in His kingdom and learn the ways of Godhood.

Alma 5:35 Yea, come unto me and bring forth works of righteousness, and ye shall not be hewn down and cast into the fire—

Come to God with your righteous acts and desires so as to escape the fate of those who refuse.
